Our regular schedule practice night was switched to a race night, as we had a two-day scheduled and this would have been the 2nd day, so we thought, let’s tag a race onto the last day. After the clinic was canceled, we kept the race scheduled.
Brianna “Wildflower” Bertrand – Brianna was again pumped for this race; ALL GIRLS again. She was really racing hard against one of her good friends at the track. She had the lead a few times, but was passed going into the 4th corner. Overall, in the total points race, she finished 2nd place.
Bailey “Dash” Bertrand & Reg “Hound Dog” Bertrand – This was the Cruiser class, Transfer system. Bailey was not able to qualify into the main, he was racing 3 adults. He was pretty close though, he has some very good skills on the bike. I was able to transfer into the main in the second race. I got some work cut out for me to get better in the corners, these are costing me the higher place finishes. In the main, I placed second.
Bailey “Dash” Bertrand & Brendon “Flash” Bertrand – On this night, the brothers raced again. Once again they push each other each and every time on the track. This is could especially since they are preparing for the upcoming Ontario Provincial Qualifier and the Redline Cup Qualifier.
